New Study: Benjamin Moore Paint Wins Customer Satisfaction With Interior Paint, Exterior Stain

Consider Benjamin Moore Paint which was voted number one in customer satisfaction for indoor paint getting outstanding grades for durability and application, according to a new study. Benjamin Moore Paint also won customers over in other segments including exterior stain.
The J.D. Power 2018 Paint Satisfaction StudySM study measured customer satisfaction in the $13 billion interior and exterior paint and stain consumer market. The study released in May found that Benjamin Moore Paint ranked highest in interior paint and exterior stain. The study measured paint and stain satisfaction across six factors which included application, durability, in-store color displays and printed materials, price, product offerings and warranty/guarantee. Consumer satisfaction was measured on a 1,000-point scale.
Interior Paint
Benjamin Moore (853) ranked highest in customer satisfaction among interior paint brands. The study found that Benjamin Moore outperformed competitors in application; durability; product offerings; and warranty/guarantee factors. The competitor who came in second place got outstanding grades for in-store color displays.
Exterior Stain
Benjamin Moore (828) again ranked highest in customer satisfaction. The paint performed particularly well in the durability; offerings; and warranty/guarantee factors. In the exterior stain category, Benjamin Moore also won customers over for having the best prices. The paint company that got second place performed best in application, in-store color displays and product offerings factors.
Exterior Paint
In this category Benjamin Moore (854) came in second, performing highest in the durability and warranty/guarantee factors. Only one other company got higher marks when it came to application; in-store color displays and printed materials; and product offerings.
Paint Retailer
Benjamin Moore Paint Stores (859) also got exceptional grades from customers compared to other paint retailers. They again ranked highest in customer satisfaction beating the competition in service. Benjamin Moore Paint stores also performed particularly well in merchandise and store facility factors.
The JD Power Paint Satisfaction Study
The 2018 Paint Satisfaction Study was based on responses from over 8,000 customers who purchased and applied interior paint, exterior paint and/or exterior stain in the past 12 months.
